Adjacency and disclosure
Calyx Intelligence runs two practices that touch the same subject, and anyone reading either one is entitled to know that before they weigh it.
Public Record. A verified registry of data center siting, power and public finance, built from government and court records. Every entry carries its origin, its verification state, and the date it was last confirmed. Findings publish when the record supports them and not before.
Field Engineering. Acoustic (including low-frequency hum and infrasound), vibration, RF, power and light measurement for sites under construction or in operation. Sold to developers, owners, contractors and jurisdictions.
Where they touch. The registry records which jurisdictions write measurement conditions into approvals. Those are the same conditions Field Engineering surveys satisfy. Knowing the ordinance landscape makes the survey work better informed. It also means the registry names conditions that create demand for a Calyx service.
How that is walled
The registry never recommends a survey, names a vendor, or mentions the service line. Findings are written to the record and would read identically if Field Engineering did not exist.
No finding has been published, withheld, timed or shaped to create survey demand.
Calyx does not survey a site while that site is the subject of an unpublished finding.
Registry entries are sourced and dated so any third party can check them independently. That is the actual protection — not a promise about intent, but a record someone else can verify without us.
Southwest Energy Group. Michael Lawrence is also CEO and CTO of Southwest Energy Group LLC, an Arizona company building deployable solar generation and storage. SEG's products serve construction-phase power. SEG is a separate company with separate ownership and separate operations, and no SEG product is sold through the registry or through Field Engineering.
Registry sources. Some sources are advocacy organizations, some are economic development bodies, some are industry associations. Each is marked at the point where it is used, including where we find it persuasive.
